Malaysian Medical Association Selangor is an association providing exceptional services, support and resources to our members.We represent the largest number of medical practitioners in Selangor.
Our Aim :

To promote and maintain the honour and interest of the profession of medicine and help continue and maintain the professional standards of medical ethics.

To serve as the vehicle of the integrated voice of the medical profession and every segment in relevance and relation to special predicaments and educating and directing public opinion on problems of public health affecting the community at large.

To participate in the conduct of medical education, as may be appropriate.

WELCOME MESSAGE
General Practitioners face challenges from the moment the thought of setting up a clinic crosses their minds. The process involved from getting the application signed to receiving your licensing itself sounds daunting, and the challenges only get tougher from there. There are no CGPs available for doctors on this topic, and every phase from inception, growth, stabilisation and success requires more than just our education and training.
The private primary care sector in Malaysia is undergoing a shift with the emergence of various health ecosystems, medical misinformation, and increasing regulatory scrutiny and corporatisation of primary care services, demands for smaller or solo general practitioners to upskill themselves through innovation, education and collaboration.
MMA Selangor aims to provide clarity for the current and future general practitioners on these various stages of a clinic set-up. This event is more than a CPD gathering; it is a national capacity-building platform where clinicians, regulators, and industry leaders come together to shape the future of general practice. Our goal is to equip every participant with the tools to build strong, ethical, and sustainable healthcare businesses and, in doing so, strengthen Malaysia’s healthcare foundation.
